Version 2.0 rewrites the entire structure of WHMCS User and IP Control, essentially making it a brand-new product as it were, with the same functionality as before.
New Features:
- Traffic throttling
You may select to throttle traffic, penalizing users who spam load your site - User Emails
Login notifications are sent via email to users with details - User Interaction
The module now has a client area where they can
View past logins
Toggle Email notifications
View Unique logins - Better session handling
The module is now tied to the session to ensure a faster loading site (front and backend) - GeoIP module no longer required
This was a deprecated module, so the module was rewritten to use GitHub - maxmind/GeoIP2-php: PHP API for GeoIP2 webservice client and database reader - Complete backend overhaul.

- URL History information
- Did we mention this was a complete overhaul? Every bit of code was refactored to make the module more effective and secure
- Language file
Over 300 language entries have been added, making the module fully customizable and fully translatable. If it could be converted to $_LANG or $_ADDONLANG, it was :)
